It was easy to find the bus after leaving the port. The transfer was smooth, we made good time and we had three hours to explore the area before heading back to Messina.

tour was interesting and our guide Chiara was very good. We did not go to the Sanctuary of Madonna di Montalto to see the city view as indicated. The cannoli and gelato was delicious.

Consuelo was the best!! She was very hospitable and opened her home to my husband and I. The food was amazing- she prepared a wonderful menu! Some of our favorites that she cooked were the 2 types of meatballs, deviled eggs with tuna, and tiramisu!! Everything was so good though! We highly recommend this experience if you want to make the most out of your time in Messina
