We highly recommend a tour with Khalid! We had very little time in Oman and he gave us a wonderful glimpse into this country's history, heritage and culture. Despite the itinerary being fairly packed, Khalid was patient and didn't rush us once - instead he prioritised the most important locations (Nizwa and Jebel Shams). He was kind, respectful and very knowledgeable. His driving was safe and he was clearly experienced with the zig-zaggy roads leading up to the breath-taking viewpoint on Jebel Shams.★

Known as the "Grand Canyon of Arabia," Jebel Shams boasts the highest peak in Oman and offers stunning views. The walk is not difficult if you do hiking regularly. Just a few small steep sections, rest is level 3 walk. The view is amazing, if you are in the area, don't miss this.★

Khalid took us on an amazing adventure on our trip to Nizwa, both the Fort (lots of information and Khalid has amazing photography skills!) and the Souq (even assisted us with the shopping!). We then made our way to Jabal AlAkhdar, followed by a trip to Birkat Al Mouz.
It was completely educational but also very fun. Khalid knew how to hold a conversation and also to take care of us during the whole tour. It was 50 degrees Celsius but he tried to keep us cool as much as possible. Overall, we had a great day and the only thing bad was the weather. Other than that, no complaints at all. Thank you, Sunshine Tours and Khalid! You made our trip to Oman memorable! 🇴🇲★
