I used it for four days in Ho Chi Minh City. Activation was smooth and I was able to use it immediately after arriving. The signal was also good. My flight back was delayed, so I was worried about the service time, but it was saved that I could still use it after midnight because it is calculated 24 hours after turning it on!

I used this in KL, Bangkok and Shanghai. Overall the signal was ok. Sometimes we do get a drop out but it’s not often. We managed to use all social media platforms with this eSIM at Shanghai. Only thing is if you want to hail a ride you’ll need a number for it in china.

The SIM card worked perfectly in Nha Trang. I had to buy a physical one for my second phone, which was more expensive and didn't work with Yandex. But here, no problem.

Super convenient and cheap! Viettel is definitely the way to go when traveling to Vietnam and Phu Quoc! The signal is consistently excellent and stable. Just set it up, and you can connect as soon as you get off the plane, plus the speed is fast! Compared to the other physical SIM cards my husband bought (which had terrible signal, even at full bars it was slow), my eSIM was the only one with a stable signal among the four of us 😂 I was responsible for creating a hotspot for the family. The internet speed test was very fast, reaching over 800Mbps (don't test it unnecessarily, it consumes a lot of data).
