Convenient for trains; press the link to show the QR code before entering and exiting the platform. If you're a group of four, scan the QR code one person at a time. For cars, it's a different QR code to show to the driver.★

It's very worthwhile for anyone planning a trip, but don't go all the way to Kyoto, Nara, Osaka, and Kobe. You can use it anytime. You need to plan a little because if you want to use the Shinkansen bullet train, you need to reserve seats in advance to secure a seat on the trains that don't require reservations. During peak season, it's very crowded and there won't be any seats available. Personally, I find it very cost-effective. Most importantly, don't lose it, because if you lose it, you have to buy a new one.★

I bought it online while on the train from Odawara to Osaka. At the station, I found an office and got a printed ticket. I then used it to travel to Hiroshima, which is very convenient. I also used it to visit Miyajima, then Kyoto, and several surrounding cities.★

I like that the schedule is flexible. I was able to get ready faster than expected on both the outbound and return trips, so I was able to move my reservation time up and use the service successfully. I used to hug my suitcase and take the Nankai Airport Line subway because I thought it was a waste of money, but since that costs around 10,000 won anyway—especially if you are traveling with children or elderly parents—it is much better to just pay a few thousand won more and take the Rapit.★

My trip to Osaka was from November 2nd to 6th, 2025. I bought the JR Kansai Mini Pass, which was quite convenient and cost-effective. I visited Kobe and Kyoto, both of which had new rapid transit lines. On the last day, I also took the Airport Express. Note that cars 5-8 on the Airport Express might be assigned to Wakayama, so be sure to take cars 1-4. I also took the Arashiyama Scenic Railway; make sure you buy the correct section ticket, as it offers round-trip tickets. I bought the wrong one.★

Easy to use! If you want to book shinkansen tickets, you may do so from the ticketing machine or over the counter if you’re unfamiliar with booking.
