Reviews: 1-day tour to Kyoto, Arashiyama & Nara - bamboo forest path + Togetsukyō Bridge + Fushimi Inari + Nara Park
Guest User2026-04-04
The tour guide was professional and considerate, providing engaging commentary throughout and even helping us avoid peak tourist seasons. The itinerary was well-planned, with ample time spent at each attraction. Arashiyama was picturesque, with tranquil bamboo paths and shimmering blue waters beneath Togetsukyo Bridge; every snapshot was postcard-perfect, so therapeutic! `(*∩_∩*)′
Reviews: 1-day tour to Kyoto, Nara and Uji | Nara Park, Byodoin Temple, Fushimi Inari and Tōdai-ji

It was a wonderful trip! I fed the deer in Nara Park, enjoyed a matcha parfait from a century-old shop in Uji, and saw the Senbon Torii (thousands of torii gates) in Kyoto. A special thank you to our guide, Hugo, who was incredibly dedicated and responsible, providing excellent explanations and detailed addresses for all the attractions and restaurants. He's fluent in English, Chinese, and Japanese, and as a fellow countryman, I felt a strong connection with him. We chatted a lot along the way, gaining a deeper understanding of each other's origins. 😊
Reviews: Nara Park + Uji + Hot Spring Day Trip in Japan
Guest User2025-09-17
A very thoughtful trip! The tour guide was friendly and considerate, and the bus departed on time from Exit 2 of Nihonbashi. The last-minute hot spring visit was changed to an extra hour in Uji because no one wanted to go. Playing in the Uji River was so relaxing, and the Tale of Genji Museum is definitely worth a visit. Plan your time carefully! The stop in Nara was also particularly enjoyable; the deer were adorable and politely nodded for food. However, some were a bit rough, but overall it was fun and enjoyable. A fantastic experience, highly recommended.
Reviews: Osaka departure [lazy route] Nara deer interaction + Uji matcha tasting + Japanese-style healing

The route was quite leisurely, with many deer along the way, and deer crackers were readily available. However, be careful not to get bumped; our guide was chased by about ten deer while buying crackers. Some foreigners, perhaps due to their brightly colored clothing or large size, also seemed unusually attractive to them. Later, we went to Uji Village. Because there were so many matcha vendors and we didn't know how to distinguish them, we spent over an hour learning on Xiaohongshu (a Chinese social media platform), which was quite helpful. I recommend finding a teahouse to sample and compare; it's more direct. It costs around 1500 yen. As a side note, our guide talked about many places to eat, drink, and have fun for almost half an hour. We tried two of them, and the tastes suited us well. You can look her up if you're interested; she's a girl from Jiangsu surnamed Jiang. It's a bit of a pity we didn't go to the hot springs (extra charge), I wonder what kind they were…
