As a Shanghainese, I've always longed for thick snow and dry, cold weather, and this time I finally experienced both. Although it was just my daughter and me on the trip, the hospitality was still top-notch. At the folk village, ten locals warmly welcomed us with a folk dance in the snow, and there was also a traditional Errenzhuan performance – very touching! The snow activities afterwards made me feel like I was back in my childhood. Our young and beautiful tour guide was also very cheerful! The winter ice pops, beluga whale show, and heated kang (traditional heated platform bed) were all memorable… In short, it was a wonderful experience!
