It was a lovely tour organized by Delhi by Cycles. Shahjahanabad ke kisse were well narrated by our guide Gerush. We got little tidbits of information about Old Delhi here and there. About the life in Shahjahanabad, about Fatehpuri Masjid and Red Fort, and about Ghalib Sahab. 1857 mutiny was touched upon here and there. Even though these “kisse” were good to hear, the highlight for me was exploring and navigating the city on a cycle— something that we usually don’t do. So thank you for that.
The cycles were well maintained and we were given enough time to adjust the seat heights and for people to get re-accustomed to cycling (many were cycling after a really long time). Smaller cycles were provided as per need. Mukesh Ji was an amazing Ride sweep who ensured everyone was on track and safe. Apsara was the female tour guide and was very helpful.
Navigating the narrow bustling streets of old Delhi can be tricky. The early start helps but it can get overwhelming if you are new to the city. Despite that it was the highlight. The tour lasted around 3 hours and included some chai and charcha on cycling.
