Due to a lack of people, we had to change to a different tour (Yehliu was added), but we were satisfied because we were able to see everything we wanted to see. Trip was very accommodating and I'm very happy with how they handled the change. The tour guide was able to stay on schedule with precision and get around efficiently. It was my first time, so it was fine, but next time I'd like to take a little more time to see each tourist spot. Jiufen Old Street was a place where I wanted to stay for more than two hours!★

We participated as a three-generation group with my mother and children! The meeting place was very easy to find. All instructions were in English. As long as you can understand a little, you should be fine. There were no other Japanese people or families with children, but our guide, Tommy, was very considerate, so we felt at ease. There is a separate entrance fee to Yehliu Geopark (pay later). We ordered lanterns in Shifen on the bus and paid for them at the store (we couldn't choose the store lol). We also picked up and paid for the chicken and ice cream recommended to us on the bus at the same store. We got off the bus just before Jiufen Old Street and transferred to a bus bound for Old Street, so the bus fare was $45. The meeting time and location were clearly communicated, so it wasn't difficult to find. It would have been a pain to get there by train, so I think it was a great deal considering they took us around by bus! (Purchased during a half-price sale.)★

We were able to go to all the places we wanted to go. There was a downpour along the way, but luckily we only stayed in the car or in places with a roof. I think it would have been a difficult day to go alone. The guide spoke Japanese very well and told us a lot of useful and fun stories, so I'm glad I participated.★

I used it from Tainan to Taoyuan. I reserved a time in advance on the official website and headed to the station. When I showed my passport and reservation number at the ticket counter, they asked if I wanted to change the time, and when I told them I was fine with leaving it as it was, they issued me a paper ticket. They spoke simple Japanese and English. The interior of the car was air-conditioned, making for a quiet and comfortable trip.★
