It was one of the easiest parts of my trip. The setup was straightforward and it activated instantly once I arrived in Germany. The hotel was nice; check-in and check-out were quick, and the staff were quite professional. However, I wouldn't recommend visiting Xitang during any public holidays. The 3-kilometer drive from the highway exit to the Xitang scenic area took almost two hours, much slower than walking. Also, Xitang is even more crowded at night, probably because there's no entrance fee, and the covered walkway is very narrow; you almost get pushed into the water.
