We met Taner at the airport and he gave us a tour of Trabzon. He was knowledgeable and friendly and professional. It was a pleasure.

There were many meeting points near our hotel, which was helpful. We don't speak English or Turkish, but as long as we could hear the meeting place and time or confirm it through translation, we were able to participate. The guide was very attentive. Our tour had eight people, and there was plenty of room in the vehicle for comfortable seating. The vehicle was equipped with a heavy electrical connector, so we didn't have to worry about our smartphones running out of battery. They took us to so many great spots. We had an hour of free time at Sumela Monastery, which was plenty of time for sightseeing. We also visited many other photo spots, such as Karaca Cave and a hilltop with a skeleton-like observation deck (fee required). I think it was good value for money. If you visit Trabzon, this is a tour you should definitely take.

It was a very nice get-together, the dinner was delicious, the only thing we would have liked was to have Spanish-speaking guides.
