Reviews: Surabaya Sewu Waterfall 1-Day Tour with Round-Trip Options: Join-in Tour/Private Car
Guest User2026-05-04
Genuine review! I haven't joined a tour group for many years, but Indonesia really isn't suitable for self-driving, so joining a tour is the best option. This tour was truly the most reliable tour I've ever had, bar none. Although the driver was Indonesian, the WeChat customer service was Chinese and responded extremely quickly; any problems were addressed and resolved promptly.
Reviews: 1-day tour to Mt Bromo from Surabaya [booking from 1 person | private car | join-in tour | optional sunrise or sunset]

The itinerary was professionally and reasonably planned, the driver was highly skilled on mountain roads, and the guide was incredibly attentive, not only very enthusiastic but also proactively helping us find the best shooting spots. Riding in a jeep across the vast desert was an amazing experience, like landing on another planet. Standing on the crater, listening to the roar from underground, and watching sulfurous smoke rise from the cracks was a unique and unforgettable experience – definitely worth a thumbs up!
Reviews: Tumpak Sewu Waterfall Adventure One Day Tour With Entrance Tickets

Tumpak Sewu was supposed to be a quick day trip between Malang and Bali. Ended up being the highlight of my whole three weeks in Indonesia didn't see that coming. The canyon view from the top already looks unreal, then you climb down and realize photos lied about the scale. Our guide was patient with the slower people in the group, never made anyone feel bad about the pace. Small thing but it meant a lot. Genuinely lovely human.
