I bought this for a trip to Taiwan. I used it in Taipei and Taichung. It worked perfectly even on the high-speed train, and I didn't experience any of the common problems like not being able to see photos on Google Maps. It was very comfortable to use. I used this for a temporary return to Japan. It's cheaper than Japanese budget SIM cards. Connecting is very easy; just tap the install button in the app. However, since the connection is outside of Japan, PayPay may not be available. Nevertheless, I would like to use it again.
