Riding a camel was truly a special experience! The camels here are well-maintained. Each one was meticulously cared for. I had made a reservation at the sunrise point, but it was really cold in August. Dress warmly and be sure to bring a hot pack!

Little regret is that I did not book a camel ride at sunset. I finally chose to ride a camel in the daytime. Everyone wants to experience the sunset and remember to book in advance. Although it is a bit regrettable, the camel experience during the day has a special flavor. The camel is very docile and obedient. Walking in the desert is still very pleasant.

This local segway company provided excellent service, even though the guide was a foreigner. They were very professional and friendly. The segway was simple, but it was a very comfortable ride around Uluru. Breakfast was included with the sunrise viewing, and although it was mostly white food, it was free. The guide also explained the characteristics of the rock and Aboriginal culture.
