This is the best tour to truly experience Pico Island! You’ll get to see places that most visitors never reach, including incredible up-close views of the caldeiras and stunning landscapes all around. Filip is an outstanding guide — so knowledgeable about the island’s history, culture, and especially its unique plants. 🌿 His passion really brings Pico to life! Lunch was an amazing experience and such a special part of the day — delicious local food and wine, perfectly planned. 🍷🍽️ Everything ran smoothly from start to finish — we met right at the pier where the ferry arrives, and Filip was there waiting for us promptly. Highly recommend this tour if you want an authentic, unforgettable Pico adventure!

We really loved this tour! Filipe was very knowledgeable on all things Pico Island and its wine culture, we learned so much about Pico Island and he was able to answer any questions we had! He took us to more places to see than just wineries which was great. We also enjoyed a full Portuguese buffet lunch, and loved all the Pico wines we tried in the day! The liquor/brandy tasting was also a very nice addition to the tour. Would definitely highly recommend this tour!

We had such a great time on our tour! Phillip our guide was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the island and the vineyards. He added some fun facts about the plants in the area and how they also affect the vineyards. We had a small group of 6 and it was fun to meet new people. We really enjoyed meeting the creators of the islands best wines and liquors/brandy. You can really feel the passion they bring to the art of producing fine spirits! Our stop for lunch included more than expected and was delicious! This was one of the highlights of our trip to the Azores and Pico island. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants some great company, local knowledge and delicious drinks and food!

Outstanding! Pino suggested we take a driving tour after talking to me about my interests. The tour was fantastic! We went to all the important parts of the battlefield (impossible on a walking tour) as he explained their importance. Great picnic lunch at Doctor's House ( important stop on tour). If possible, you should plan on 2 days at Cassino. One day for big picture, one day for walking up the critical trail to experience how the battle unfolded. Cannot recommend Pino highly enough. Great experience!


