My family and I had a great time at the animal sanctuary. Our walk around the park started early in the morning at 9am with the sloth feeding and info session. It was amazing seeing the sloths in person and watching them eat. There were only 3 sloths but that was enough for us to watch them interact with each other. This park is home to only the 2 toed sloths (which have longer snouts, and no tail).
We listened to a park keeper that provided us with interesting facts on both the jaguars and pumas. We went into several enclosed structures and saw beautuful blue morpho butterflies and cool toucans. We visited the monkeys, saw turtles, iguanas, and many other animals! We ate a simple buffet lunch which was situated next to the zip line!! We watched as ppl zip lined across, some got stuck and we were entertained watching them get rescued. It was a beautiful view at the buffet lunch area where the you could see Riu hotel, the forest, ocean, and zip lining!
We thoroughly enjoyed this park, and wish we could have utilized an all day pass, but we had only 4hours and that was just enough time for my family to visit the animal sanctuary and have lunch. If we had more time we would have went zip lining as well! The all day park pass does appear to be a great deal at $125. We would highly recommend this park. Although, be prepared to be feasted on by mosquitos if you are a mosquito magnet as my husband came out with 10 new mosquito bites (mostly around his lower legs). A fellow traveller felt so badly for my husband and family when they saw their mosquito covered bodies and were kind enough to offer mosquito repellent and topical medication to apply.
Overall, a great morning at Diamante Eco Adventure Park!

Reviews: Guanacaste Rainforest Safari with Meal

We had an amazing time with this company. From start to finish I felt like my family was a priority. Melvin started the tour off by saying he's not only a tour guide but our new Costa Rican friend. He made it a point to get to know each of our names. He made sure we were comfortable the entire tour. They were super flexible and accommodating. We never felt rushed. Our driver Julio was the best he was super quick on his feet and made sure to get us where we were going safely. We had such a great experience. I would recommend this company over any of the other companies.

Reviews: Cultural Experience Tour
I***82024-08-17
My entire family enjoyed this place and experience! We learned about the local wildlife and the animals rescued. The park is very well laid out and easy to navigate.
We were surprised how much we enjoyed the Cultural Experience. Kevin, our presenter, was funny and knowledgeable. We got to see the farm animals, grind sugarcane, sample coffee and freshly ground cacao beans that were made into a chocolate paste. He gave us the history of a traditional farm operation in Costa Rica, it was all very interesting.
We decided to eat at the buffet before we left for the day. The food was good, the salad bar was very fresh. They had French fries and pizza for the kids. There were various entrees for adults and it was $16/person which was very reasonable for an all-you-can-eat buffet. I highly recommend Diamante Eco Adventure Park!

Reviews: Private Afternoon Sunset Cruise
E***02025-05-27
My girlfriend and I did the private sunset tour, which lasted about 4 hours and included some great snacks, drinks, snorkeling, beautiful views, and most importantly a wonderful crew. Pecho was our captain, and Kuka and Chebo the crew -- we couldn't think any more highly of them! Kind, caring, helpful - they truly checked all of the boxes and made our sunset tour so great. Outside of how great everyone was, we had an absolutely beautiful sunset. It was a perfect afternoon, and I'm happy to say we made new friends! Also a special shoutout to Eric and Leslea, the owners who helped set up and coordinate everything so seamlessly.

Reviews: Private Tenorio Rainforest Hanging Bridges and Sloth Encounter
K***62024-01-15
The excursion was fantastic. We experienced the Rainforest, the views and sounds were amazing. Our tour guide Eddy, was absolutely amazing- he made the outing a home run. He was knowledgeable about all the flora and fauna of Costa Rica and shared the history of his country. We visited the waterfall and were the first ones there and experienced this with just our family- swimming and taking great pictures. The sloth encounter was really special as well. Everywhere we went we seemed to be the first to arrive which made it even more special. Eddy seemed to know everyone- we stopped so he could educate us on the Guanacaste Tree and then again to try some some local Rosquillas and watermelon. Everyone honked and waved at Eddy. The restaurant he took us to for lunch allowed us to try the local cuisine and it was great- it also had a butterfly sanctuary. Eddy gave us VIP treatment and I highly recommend him and this excursion.
