We booked this trip for my 45th birthday and it was truly incredible. I kept having to pinch myself. Everything was so so beautiful and the settings were jaw dropping.
I can’t recommend this trip enough. Both informative but also fun.
Everything was so well organised and our guide Sara was incredible!
We loved our lunch under the vine leaves overlooking the vineyards with scenery for days. We went with such a lovely group of people and I loved that we all sat together at lunch and got to know each other.
The boat trip was also a highlight. What a lovely way to spend the afternoon!

The Duoro Valley scenery is beautiful and there are a number of stops in between the bus tour including two winery visits with wine tasting provided. Tour guide Ricardo is funny and professional★

The sunset tour did not disappoint. Enjoyable ride along the Douro to take in the architecture as the sun is setting. Great opportunity for photos. Beer and wine for purchase onboard...make sure too have small change to pay for a few extra.
Skipper did a great job pushing out to the mouth of the river to ride a few swells on a windy day (without anyone feeling queasy). Friendly crew provided blankets as it got chilly as sun was going down.★

We enjoyed the vineyard destinations, wine tastings, and authentic setting of each stop.
The vista views of the Duoro/ Sambosa country hills were breathtaking and beautifully stereoscopic.
Our tour guide, Sara, was informative, enjoyable, and very personable. She demonstrated a perfect blend of knowledge, localism, and easy-to-understand narration that made our trip enjoyable.★
