We are a family travelling with kids aged 7-14. We love guided tours because we learn so much more about the place and also because our kids are always more well behaved and do not complain as much as they would and could have, if we were on our own. Ricardo, our wonderful guide, is local to Guimaraes and so, had a wealth of information to impart, and was able to show us places and details that may otherwise go unknown and unseen. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit in beautiful Guimaraes and appreciated that we learned so much about the city, rather than just the castle and palace. The length of the tour worked out well for our family, and we did not feel rushed at all. Ricardo was very thoughtful about making sure we were hydrated and if we needed bathroom breaks. He got us some yummy traditional pastries, which apparently is part of the tour but nevertheless, a wonderful surprise. We highly recommend this tour, and especially Ricardo as a guide.★

We had Daniel as our driver both on the trip into the city and on the return trip to the airport. We were very satisfied with him. He is very friendly and helpful. We had a significant delay on the outbound flight, and he waited patiently for us. Overall, the service is highly recommended. Very good value for money, and the vehicle was also in very good condition.
