I was satisfied with the trip, especially the hotel... However, although the last day was supposed to be free time, they still scheduled a day off, greatly shortening my free time and disrupting my plans... Overall, though, the trip was still very worthwhile...

Although it is called mountain climbing, it is only a matter of climbing stairs, so anyone can do it. The ruins are well maintained and are a great place for Buddhists. Water and sandals are provided, so you can easily participate.

The tour guide's arrangements for lunch on the first day were terrible. There were three tables in total; the other two tables had been eating for ages, but our table hadn't even had our food yet. We waited for about an hour, and the tour guide was nowhere to be found, completely ignoring us. Later, when we spoke to her, she said she hadn't eaten either – a terrible way to handle the situation. The Super 8 Hotel near the Big Wild Goose Pagoda was quite nice, I was very satisfied. On the return trip, there was a traffic jam on the highway, and we didn't get back to the hotel until 11:30 pm. The tour guide wasted too much time; we all got on the bus and waited for her for half an hour. Ugh!

This was absolutely incredible. I was blown away by the professionalism, dedication and enthusiasm. Seeing such a beautiful part of Indonesia with such a knowledgeable and passionate crew made my wife and I really feel a part of the community. There is no way I could imagine being able to recommend this enough.


