You need an e-sim or mobile connectivity to book an uber or bolt, e-SIM pre-activated at home country offered an instant 5G connection the moment I landed, that too at a better price. Activating it was incredibly seamless—a simple QR code scan before boarding my flight meant I was online as soon I landed in Egypt.
