Wow! Such an amazing walking tour. Hannes (maybe I spelled that wrong) was an absolutely wonderful guide with so much knowledge. It truly felt like we got to see and learn about the whole city in 2.5/3 hours. I cannot recommend this enough.
Reviews: Frankfurt City Card

This is a must-have for tourists. In Germany, where buying train and bus tickets can be complicated, this card makes everything free. Generally, you don't need to tap the card or show it to station staff, but apparently, showing it during occasional ticket checks is sufficient. I bought a two-day pass and was never asked to show it. However, if you don't have it during a ticket check, you will be fined a hefty amount, so it's safer to have one. It might be expensive for those who have no problems with sightseeing or paying for tickets in Germany. You also get discounts on admission to zoos and museums, but keep in mind that you can't buy tickets online because you need to show the card.
