4.5 stars. The Guilin Hotel has a great location right next to Ronghu Lake and is well-managed. The internet cable connection was loose, but someone quickly fixed it. Afterwards, staff even came to inquire about the repair and service. While the Yangshuo Riverside Hotel isn't a true five-star hotel, the environment is absolutely beautiful; a trip to Yangshuo wouldn't be complete without staying at this hotel. Ctrip's service is excellent; we also chose Ctrip for our Sanya trip last year. However, this time, the 330 yuan luxury cruise on the Li River booked through Ctrip was a bit expensive, especially considering the 45 yuan for drop-off at the pier, making it 90 yuan for two people.

The speed was fine and the setup was easy. Most hotels have Wi-Fi, so 1G per day is usually fine. If you're traveling for long periods of time, it's a good idea to buy an unlimited SIM card.
