Product reviews: San Sebastian Evening Pintxo Tour with Wine
Guest User2024-09-16
Sandra was a lovely guide who led us through an evening of tasting delicious Pintxos and wine! We sampled many bites that I would not have ordered on my own and found them absolutely delicious! Something for everyone to enjoy. It was a nice evening walking the streets of San Sebastián and sampling along the way.

Product reviews: Discover San Sebastián's Best Pintxos on a Unique Culinary Tour
Guest User2025-05-25
This Tour was the Highlight of our trip to San Sebastián. Eske was so friendly and informative and we had such a good time on this tour.
We visited 5 different venues and Eske tailored both the venues and the pintxos to suit everyone’s tastes and dietary requirements.
We tried local sparkling Txakoli wine, cider, beers and red and white wine.
The pintxos were delicious and we loved every minute of this tour.
Doing this tour at the start of your trip will enhance your whole experience of San Sebastián! ⭐️🫶⭐️

Product reviews: Pintxo Lunch Tour in San Sebastián: A Unique Culinary Experience
Guest User2025-05-25
We (Australian male and female) did a food tour in San Sebastian with the tour company Discover San Sebastian. Well worth your time and money.
The Old Town in San Sebastian is a great place for pinchos with about 300 bars competing for your attention,. To be honest the range of choice is bewildering. Our tour guide Erskene cut through all of that and took us to some fantastic places which we would've only found through a lot of trial and error - or not at all.
And not only did we visit 5 great places across the Old Town but we had the best food choices in those places. Erskene checked the group's food tastes and allergies at the very beginning of the night and, such is her local knowledge, she tailored the tour and our walking route to suit the group.
And to add to the deal Erskene insists in each place that they prepare the food fresh for us. Usually pinchos is premade but not on this tour. Sometimes the food choices are only avaialble to her tour and so are truly unique. You also get a choice of drinks to accompany the food as well.
And of course Erskene spoke fluent, clear English the whole night. The tour is all about the food but Erskene also provides a great insight into Spanish and Basque culture and language which was great for a couple like us with few Spanish skills. By the end of the night we called Erskene the unofficial mayor of the Old Town.
By the end of the tour (about 3 hours) we were very satisfied with the amount and quality of food and drink but also had recommendations for other places to try in coming days.
I can't think of a single thing to improve Erskene's tours. No wonder Erskene and her tour experiences are ranked #1.

We did a bike tour around San Sebastián. Our tour guide, Tarik is an amazing and extremely knowledgeable guide. So much history of Basques. First time here for us so we were glad to learn so much from Tarik.
2.5 hours of a great tour. So worth the money to see the beautiful city of San Sebastián.

Product reviews: French Basque Countryside Tour from San Sebastian
Guest User2024-07-21
My husband and I took a tour of the French Basque countryside with Ander, and we had a wonderful time. We visited the villages of Sara, Espelette, and St. Jean Pied de Port. Ander gave us great insight into the culture and history of the Basque region, and explained some of the similarities and differences between the Spanish and French Basque regions. He also offered to take pictures of us throughout the day to make sure that we could have some beautiful couples-photos.
Tip: Remember to bring your passports! You are crossing into a different country, and sometimes the French government sets up checkpoints.
