Manos was magnificent and definitely sent to us from the heavens :) Our day in Santorini didn’t start of so well. It was one of the busiest port days with 5 large cruise ships and the port authorities restricting tenders to minimise the cues for the cable car. After waiting nearly 3 hours in line for the cable car, we were 3 hours late for our booked tour with Manos. He was such a gentleman, waited patiently for us and communicated regularly. We honestly thought we would get an hr with him as we were so late. To our utter surprise he went above and beyond, had ice cold water waiting in his luxury van. Told us all about the history of Santorini, took us to all the amazing photo spots, mange to get us through the crazy crowds! Our day was topped of by a beautiful lunch with genuine Greek cuisine and a swim in the Mediterranean at the black beach. Manos not only waited 3 hrs for us at the cable car, he then took us on a full tour of magnificent Santorini and spent another 4hours with us when we had only paid for a 3 hr your. Manos, from the bottom of our hearts thank you! You saved our experience in Santorini.

The tour guide of the whole trip was very good, the instructions were very clear, but the designated pick-up point was not clear at the beginning, saying that it was to the fira parking lot, but there were a lot of such locations, or the hotel driver was very good, help me find the pick-up location, Kamara is a large local tourist agency, It is recommended that Trip.com you can find them to expand your business. In future products, you will be asked to send a car to the hotel to pick up guests, so that it is convenient for guests. Otherwise, from the hotel I live in to the pick-up location, I have to walk 1.7 kilometers, and it is difficult to find. After watching the oia sunset, it is dark, and it is not convenient for guests to take the night road.★

We booked this trip through Santo Star (office in main town of Fira) the night before. The trip was perfect and well worth the €35 paid (ONLY €5 more to have an extra 2 hours on the trip and visit Thirassia Island too rather than just the volcano and hot springs. The crew were great and the guide (Rula) was so knowledgeable and gave us a really in depth description of the history and the creation of the islands. Take their advice and wear good footwear as there is a lot of walking if you want to make the most of the trip. We had a beautiful lunch at the first restaurant you come to if you walk up to the village on Thirassia. We took loads of drinks and snacks with us (you can leave bags on the boat at stopoffs) but there is also a bar on board. DO NOT miss out on this trip. It really is worth it 👌
