We had already explored the East and West sides of beautiful São Miguel with Pure Azores, but this Hidden Gems tour was the perfect complementary adventure — and truly a magical way to wrap up our trip!
From the moment we set off, it was clear we were in for something special. The landscapes were absolutely breathtaking: lush green gardens bursting with life, peaceful hidden waterfalls tucked away in vivid natural havens, and charming trails that offered just the right touch of hiking to keep us energized and fascinated with the island's beauty.
João, our tour lead was simply fantastic. Friendly, funny, and full of knowledge, he made the day feel less like a tour and more like a road trip with a good friend who happens to know everything about São Miguel. He shared fun stories, answered all our questions with a smile, and made sure everyone felt comfortable. His passion for the island is contagious!
If you're looking for something a bit off the beaten path like peaceful, picturesque, and packed with natural wonder — this tour is an absolute must. It complemented the East and West tours perfectly, revealing yet another layer of São Miguel’s incredible charm.

Our guide Bruno was the best part of our tour ! His knowledge of the island is amazing 👏 and his humor was fabulous! We learned so much . There was a slight glitch in one of the areas we were supposed to go to but fast thinking Bruno brought us to a spectacular waterfall and a tea plantation. Yay Bruno ! ★

Fantastic!! We had a blast and learned so much about Sao Miguel. Pedro was a terrific instructor, friendly and super knowledgeable about the island. Beautiful views of Sete Cidades from the rim of the crater! I will definitely come back to this beautiful island and will certainly take another tour with Pedro! quadazorestours is the way to go!!★

My husband and I went on the West side tour today with Marcio and we had an incredible time. He was so knowledgeable, personable and brought us to the best spots. He showed us amazing spots on the island, brought us to a delicious buffet lunch with drinks and even acted as our photographer. We highly recommend this tour and if you get Marcio, you’re extra lucky!
