Borofutu is really big, like a mountain, you need to leave enough time to visit carefully. Of course, if you are not interested in Indonesian culture, you can punch a card. There is a Michelle not far from Borofutu. That area is a night market food stall. You can go shopping and eat with enough time.★

We had a great night with our tour guide Kalika! We tried a fantastic and tasty variety of local specialties, learnt so much about the history of Yogyakarta and enjoyed some evening past time local style. Kalika’s explanations were very clear, informative and she was really passionate about introducing us to her city and its culinary traditions. The group was a very comfortable size of like minded travellers that contributed to the whole enjoyment of the evening. You get to try very much of food, all diverse, freshly made, excellent quality and very tasty. Our favourites were lumpia and gudeg. This tour is an absolute recommendation if you in Indonesia for the first time or has been travelling around for a while.
