It's very convenient and affordable. You can order it on your computer and scan the QR code to pre-download it to your phone. There's no need for complicated SIM card returns and resets. After boarding the plane, select your E-SIM account for your phone's network and deactivate your original account. I used this in KL, Bangkok and Shanghai. Overall the signal was ok. Sometimes we do get a drop out but it’s not often. We managed to use all social media platforms with this eSIM at Shanghai. Only thing is if you want to hail a ride you’ll need a number for it in china.★
