Bought 2 of these SIMs during my trip as the hotel wifi didn’t support apps such as whatsapp and facebook which I use to communicate with family and friends. These were quick to purchase using my trip coins and to install - with a click of a button on the trip app. Very competitive pricing and will purchase through here again. It's easy to use. Just register before departure and activate it locally. However, there are times when transmission and reception are not working properly. This seems to be more of a SIM card issue than a problem with data transmission in remote areas of China. It's a good product.★

I opted for an eSIM for my trip to China, and the overall experience was truly excellent. Before departure, I simply purchased a plan online and scanned a QR code to activate it instantly, eliminating the hassle of searching for a SIM card counter at the airport or waiting for a card to be mailed. Upon arriving in Shanghai, my phone connected instantly to the internet. 4G or 5G was available almost constantly in the city, making it incredibly reliable for navigation, restaurant searches, and even uploading photos to social media. Later, during my trips to Hangzhou and Suzhou, the signal remained strong, with speeds sufficient for streaming videos. Even on the intercity high-speed rail, the internet remained consistently strong on most routes, with only brief dips in tunnels and remote areas that had no impact on my trip. While some local apps may have restrictions due to international roaming IP, it was perfectly adequate for basic travel needs like chatting, navigation, and research. This trip truly demonstrated the convenience and reliability of an eSIM, adding peace of mind to my entire journey.★
