Reviews: China Maritime Museum

Tour Guides: Our guide, Jia from Ctrip, was very responsible. She kept our passports safe and helped everyone with their luggage. There were 29 people in our group, so it was quite a lot of work for her. Our Greek guide, Wang, was patient, meticulous, and knowledgeable. She was also beautiful. Our Dubai guide, Wendy, made reasonable arrangements. Friday is their day off, and they couldn't visit the museums then, so she rescheduled our visit to Saturday. Food: We only had one meal in Athens, Chinese food, which was very good. Every meal in Dubai was Chinese food, and the taste was excellent, receiving unanimous praise – quite an achievement! Each table had more than ten dishes, not the typical eight dishes and one soup for a group meal. The last meal was a little less satisfying, but everything else was great. Accommodation: The accommodation in Athens was good; there was a Carrefour across the street, and the lobby had free Wi-Fi. The hotel in Mykonos had basic facilities, but it was by the sea, and the view was quite nice. Wi-Fi was chargeable. The hotel in Santorini was near the black sand beach, but it was far from Fira and required a car ride. The hotel offers shuttle service, which can be booked in advance for €2.50 per person one way. The rooms are spacious, suites, and you can cook your own meals; pots, pans, and other utensils are provided. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. Transportation: All transportation is by luxury air-conditioned buses. The only complaint: On our first day in Athens, we went directly to the Acropolis, a flight that took almost 24 hours. The local tour buses in Athens didn't even provide water. In Dubai, where water is more expensive than oil, they provide us with free bottled water every day. I hope they can communicate with the Athens tour company to improve their service; it's not about the money, it's about their attitude.
