Reviews: JW Marriott Hotel Shenzhen (Buffet Lunch/Buffet Dinner)

The restaurant had a fantastic atmosphere, the steamed seafood was incredibly fresh, and the beef and lamb chops were especially good. The recommended dry-aged steak was a pleasant surprise – very unique and delicious. The various desserts were also exquisite. The staff were attentive and friendly. The hotel was easy to find, just a few steps from Exit J of Chegongmiao Station. I had a very, very enjoyable meal and highly recommend it! 😀
Reviews: China Guangdong Shenzhen Xuyan - Immersive Chinese Ancient Palace Feast (Immersive experience of a thousand-year-old palace royal feast) - Tang Dynasty theme "Ode to Chang'an"

I commend the younger generation passionately pursuing such a project to entertain and educate others about Chinese culture (tang dynasty). The whole concept is great: costume for customers and staff, storytelling and dance, elegant dining, photo taking opportunities. I genuinely hope they do well and continue to grow and mature in its production. I hope the business invests in elevating the proficiency of the dancing. That would be my only suggestion.

Excellent dinner, friendly staff. We tried a Chinese samovar for the first time, and they taught us how to make it. It was delicious and beautiful. Thanks to the team.

It's not flashy, but it's perfect for those interested in everyday people. This tour, which looked particularly unique on trip.com, caught my eye and made me sign up. It's hard to imagine from the neon-lit, futuristic city of Shenzhen, but beneath its feet lies a working-class neighborhood. Children run past elderly people chatting in the park, a temple stands beside centuries-old trees, koi carp swim in the pond, and Hanfu cosplayers are taking photos in the forest. Local snack bars line the streets. Immerse yourself in public spaces, eat snacks, and walk around like a local, not a tourist. This short tour is recommended for those who want that experience. (Of course, locals will probably think you're a tourist.) My host, Wimy, is not a professional guide, but he patiently answers my questions with his local knowledge and keen insight. My English isn't my forte, and I often had to rely on the Japanese-Chinese translation on my smartphone, but he was patient and helpful throughout the tour. Thank you for a wonderful time.
