The beachfront hotels are similar to most resort hotels, but the Royal Peterman Hotel in Ubud is nestled in the mountains, featuring individual villas with swimming pools and a river that flows through the hotel for rafting – quite unique. Local prices are reasonable; a car hire for a day with a driver costs 30 USD. Overall, it was a good experience and worth returning to.
My flight was delayed by a day, and the hotel arrangement was changed to a 1+2+1 package. The fact that the two hotels were far apart wasn't clearly explained, making the trip quite inconvenient.Trip.com picks
