This was one of the highlights of our Florida trip! We booked a clear kayak tour at Silver Springs and were pleasantly surprised with a private tour led by Joël from Silver River Kayak Adventures. He was super friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience feel really personal. The water here is unbelievably clear — like paddling over glass. We spotted turtles, fish, a few alligators, and even a manatee grazing peacefully beneath us. Absolutely magical. The tour was about 1.5 hours long and moved at a relaxed pace, giving us plenty of time to soak in the surroundings. The clear kayak made it feel like we were floating in the spring, not just on top of it. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience Florida’s natural beauty up close.

Really neat farm with a lot of dear animals. The owners were great and their story was interesting and cool. Beautiful horses! No sooner did Eileen say that there was one particular donkey who always gets out of the enclosure when we were joined by that donkey who helped guide the rest of the tour. He was pretty pleased with himself!

Love it!!! You DO NOT need to come 1.5 hours before. Maybe they meant 15 min before. We loaded 10 min before the departure time. The guides, Jenna and Claire, were great. They made the trip memorable, fun, and informative. The river itself is awesome inspiring. We didn't get to see any manatees, it's more likely to see them November to March, but we got to see some gators and other wild life. The boardwalk way is also very pretty to see the fish through the clear water. Plus try the Blue Springs Pizza near the entrance of the park. It's so good. And they have lunch specials.

From start to finish our day was perfect! The staff are friendly and are very knowledgeable about all the local wildlife. It took a while for us to find a manatee but once we did we were right in the water! So amazing to see them in their natural environment. I really appreciate how much the company takes into consideration the importance of respecting and understanding the manatees before you to get to the water with them. You can really tell they love their job and the local sea potato! The gift shop is very reasonably priced and offers a clean area to change after your trip. They got some great photos of my husband and I and the manatee we saw while swimming. We will be back and book with them again…Definitely worth every penny!


