The signal is consistently strong both in Phuket and on the islands (we've been to several, including Phi Phi and Coral). You can share the internet with friends via a hotspot, and it's enough for everyone (we used the daily 100GB plan). It's very convenient that you don't have to worry about swapping SIM cards.★

Excellent package. I bought it purely for internet; I didn't need calls. I bought and installed the e-SIM card a day before arriving in Phuket. I activated it as soon as I landed. It started working within about three minutes. The connection was excellent. It even worked on the islands (Similan Islands, Phi Phi, etc.). As soon as the package was running low, I received a text message with instructions on how to top it up. I recommend it. It's very easy to install, and the instructions are very clear. I haven't had to contact customer support once.
