This tour was booked for my father-in-law's 60th birthday. The online booking process was quite convenient, and Ctrip's service was also good. This tour was purely sightseeing with no shopping stops, and all hotels were rated 4 stars. The price was slightly higher, but acceptable. My parents-in-law said the local tour guide in Beijing was excellent, so I'll give them a shout-out. I initially thought that this kind of group tour might be difficult for elderly people who had never traveled far before, but the trip went very smoothly. Older people always have a young heart!★

Buy your tickets in advance on Ctrip, and you can simply pick them up at the 16th dock by confirming your order number on your phone – no need to wait in long lines.
I went during the sweltering summer heat of Shanghai, so I recommend watching the sunset around 6-7 pm! The weather is cooler then, and you can even enjoy the breeze on the boat.
Plus, you won't be squeezing into the crowds on the Bund taking photos! The Oriental Pearl Tower and other skyscrapers are perfect for photos.
The photos you take will be absolutely beautiful!★

The cinema was quite large and had a nice environment. According to our booking on Ctrip, we watched two 5D movies in Hall 9. The movies started after we were seated, and we could choose any movie we wanted; since there were no other viewers, the three of us essentially had the theater to ourselves. Rather than just being action-packed movies, we were genuinely moved.
