It's convenient that you can get a cheap 500GB plan for 10 rubles per day. This is great if you're only visiting for a short time. For longer stays, it's better to buy a local SIM card.★

I used this in KL, Bangkok and Shanghai. Overall the signal was ok. Sometimes we do get a drop out but it’s not often. We managed to use all social media platforms with this eSIM at Shanghai. Only thing is if you want to hail a ride you’ll need a number for it in china.
