A fabulous afternoon on the lake and through the caves. The caves and glow worms were amazing. The guides were helpful and knowledgeable. Thoroughly recommend it. Don’t leave NZ without doing this!!

A wonderful tour! A 25-minute boat trip (each way) takes you to the cave, and the tour is conducted in small groups. The cave is very fascinating, and the glowworms were amazing to see. The guides were fantastic. I would definitely do the tour again.

We took the tour from Te Anau. We stopped at many places on the way to Milford Sound, allowing us to take photos. You can buy lunch on the Milford Sound cruise, or bring your own. We were grateful for the free coffee, tea, and water. We were able to see many incredibly high cliffs and really get a feel for the sheer scale of the place.

We are a family of 5, all in our sixties. The tour is nicely organized with breaks for sightseeing and toilet. Bus even has a transparent top for viewing, definitely recommend for those who prefer not to drive to Milford sound.


