It’s a pretty demanding but very rewarding hike. The volcanoes are amazing. I’d like to see the dept of conservation allow a “lite” hike to Soda Springs and back for younger families and older folks so they don’t miss out on the experience.

The trip was easy and the transfer turned up on time. There isn’t a guide on the walk but the bus driver gives a little introduction and map to help identify what you’re looking at and key safety pieces. The team were particularly great when I left my sunglasses on the bus and they returned it back to my hostel the next day!
