The tour guide and tour leader provided excellent service, and the overall itinerary was great. I would choose Ctrip again next time.

The tour guide and driver were both good, but the whole itinerary was rather rushed. Qianling and Maoling were a bit boring, but the Princess Tomb at Maoling was somewhat interesting. Also, time at Famen Temple was rushed; after the tour guide's explanation, there was still an hour left, plus a 15-minute return trip, leaving only 45 minutes of free time. There were no shopping stops, but we paid an extra 25 yuan for lunch and 30 yuan for the Famen Temple electric vehicle ticket. The group lunch had a good variety of dishes, but they weren't very good; the fish and meat weren't very fresh. This tour wasn't very cost-effective for students, as students already have a 50% discount, and joining the tour didn't allow for an additional 20% discount on group tickets.

Both snowmobiling and the bear ranch are worth experiencing. Before setting off, I thought they were similar, but in the end, I went to both. Snowmobiling is better with one per person (15,000 yen per snowmobile, cash only). At the bear ranch, it's 1,000 yen per person, and food is 200 yen per bag, also cash only. You can bring apples—I love their apples—it's really cool! The itinerary is a bit hardcore, so buy plenty of convenience store snacks to eat on the go.
