Directions to bus location were okay. Turn right after exiting Arrivals. Through doors to outside and turn right. Trapani bus is the third bus bay you come to. Pleasant and comfortable ride. Ends downtown across from ferry docks.

It was a wonderful experience, the visit to the salt museum was very interesting, as was a tour of the salt pans with Daniela, who was truly kind and accommodating, and even willing to accommodate our slight delay! The trip was well-organized and much appreciated, thanks in part to the passionate guides who accompanied us!

We really enjoyed our olive oil and wine tasting. We learnt a lot about olive oil and I have a much greater appreciation for it now. We had done wine tasting before so it was good but as you would expect we didn’t learn as much new information. I loved the setting and we learnt about the estate and I would have loved to learn even more.

Alessio was a great guide. Very informative and accomodating. Alessio dropped us back to our hotel in lieu of the scheduled drop off point which saved us walking back to our hotel in the rain. A truly memorable experience. We appreciate the insight gained on the saltpans, Marsala and local wine production.

We had a truly wonderful experience visiting the Trapani Salt Pans. During the tour, we visited the Salt Museum, spotted flamingos, and admired a breathtaking sunset reflecting off the salt pans. Our group consisted of four people, and our guide, Alessio, captivated us from the start with his stories. He proved to be an extremely knowledgeable and experienced professional; thanks to him, we learned so many interesting things about the culture and production of salt. Highly recommended!


