I decided to go to Machu Picchu two days before departure. Many people buy their own Machu Picchu tickets and PeruRail tickets, but my credit card security was too strong and I couldn't make the payment. I discovered that I could pay through TRIP.COM, so I applied. I applied because I heard that a tour would definitely arrange the tickets for me. Even though it was just before the trip, they kept in touch with me and I was able to sightsee without any problems.

If you only have a day to go to Machu Picchu this is a good option, just make sure you know all the logistics ahead of time cause you have a lot of transportation to take.

Great experience! Our guide, Franklin was kind and knowledgeable. The accommodations were well thought through and well coordinated. Our group ended up being just our couple which made for a well paced hike and tour.

Not the organizer's fault, but it's long (departure at 7 a.m. and return at 10:30 p.m. to the hotel in Cusco) for 2 hours spent at Machu Picchu, an exceptional site that's worth it. The train ride is great with the dancing and the Peruvian group. I was alone with a guide who knew the site very well during the visit to Machu Picchu.


