The reception at the top by the stairs wasn't very good: a smoking boy who acted somewhat indifferent. The tour itself, with the likeable guide, was very good: friendly, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and problem-solving (bike broken: he ran with the bike through the caves for half the tour).

I first saw the Xin'anjiang Dam on a cigarette pack when I was in elementary school. This time, I took my son to see it in person, fulfilling my own dream and letting him appreciate the scenery while learning about power generation. It was worth it!
