It's not exclusive. You have other guided tours at the same time and there are other people attending the show but your seats are reserved front row as part of the tour. The cocathedral is magnificent. RAFAEL (or Raphael) was our guide and he was amazing, so passionate and knowledgeable. The guided tour goes by very quickly and you get to learn about Caravagio's journey to Malta during the performance.

Special praise goes to the musical ensemble, particularly the artist who plays various period instruments. In the oratorio, the poor acoustics prevented us from clearly hearing the lines of the actor responsible for the narrative surrounding Caravaggio. It would have been better if these lines had been amplified through a portable microphone and small speakers distributed throughout the venue.

We loved this Tour and our guide Angela was fantastic and gave us detailed information about the Knights of Malta and Valletta. The cathedral tour was also really worth while and so glad that this was part of our tour as Angela really helped bring this incredible interior to life for us! Highly recommend this tour and also great that they give you ear sets as it made it so much easier to follow along with the guides commentary


