Rosa is amazing. We had so much fun last night. I am not a good cook but she helped us every step of the way. I learned so much. Our ravioli and pasta dishes were so good. I highly recommend this. We took a water taxi to get there in her home.

Very entertaining afternoon. We were met by our young local lady guide who was very charming. A short walk to a local restaurant where we would do the cooking. Table was prepared with all the ingredients and aprons for us all. I think there were 12 of us in total. A welcome drink of prosecco was offered around. Start with making the Tiramisu so it can go in the fridge. Then make the dough for the pasta. Very entertaining watching 12 different methods of needing rolling and cutting Tagliatelle. After the food preparation you get the choice of 3 different sauces to go with your Tag. Pasta is all cooked together. We all get to sit together to eat our 3course dinner. The prosecco is available but you have to apply a little self help to make it Unlimited. The young lady is busy with the food demonstration so you just have to catch the waiter to bring you another bottle.

It was wonderful! Giorgio, the shop owner, was the most warm and inviting host:) his talents in mask making go well beyond just helping my husband and I create beautiful Venetian masks—he truly is a an incredible artist! His creations are stunning! I can not recommend visiting his shop & painting Venetian mask enough! It takes the stress away and provides a beautifully meditative atmosphere! Next time you find yourself on San Marco-stop by, say hi to Giorgio, paint a mask, and unwind!
