We did not go to Verona but only went to Venise. We also had extra charge for the grand camel ride. But, the yourguilds were nice. I had a stop to eat in the middle of the drive both ways (private expenses.) The group was nice too.

Fabulous private tour with Nico today. Tour went longer than planned because Doge’s palace temporarily shut down entrance due to a fire marshal surprise inspection. Nico was able to rearrange our entrance time so that we still made our gondola tour and St Marks basilica entrance and then back to the palace. He stayed with us the entire time even though it ran over. His knowledge of Venetian and European history is unsurpassed. We only had one full day in Venice and having a private tour made the most of our time. We even had time to break for coffee and get a recommendation for dinner. Well worth the cost today!

Our guide Elisa was a fabulous engaging and knowledgeable guide. The fact that she is from Venice and proud of her heritage was really a bonus in my opinion. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. The gondola ride was fun … The only thing Id say could be improved is the ending of the tour. We had wished to say thanks and goodbye But it ended rather unexpectedly All in all very worthwhile

Good tour giving an overall view of Venice and main attractions. The guide, Michelè, was very friendly and full of anecdotes and local history that made the walk fascinating.


