The airport pick-up and drop-off went smoothly, and I was satisfied with the indigenous cultural experience and the Taroko Gorge tour arrangements. One day, a 70-year-old man drove (I suspect he was using the regular driver's services without my consent), and he kept urging me to shop, which I did out of politeness.

I bought Package B, but it seems it didn't include a ticket for the icebreaker train. The tour guide asked if I wanted to go, and if so, I'd have to pay an extra 19 Swiss francs, which was reasonable! We visited two places: the Ice Sea Railway and the Aiguille du Midi (South Peak), at 1800m and 3800m respectively. Climbing the Aiguille du Midi was a bit heart-pounding; you should check the weather before going, as it often snows in winter, and on snowy days you can't see anything!

Tony (Antoine) was a brilliant guide. He was very knowledgeable. The whole trip was fantastic. The only thing I would say that is nothing to do with the guide is that the price without train/cable car is very expensive. Not worth the money.

My friend and I did this tour recently, and it was absolutely phenomenal. Niels was an amazing tour guide with a ton of energy, experience, language proficiency, and lots of knowledge about Geneva, the Alps, and Swiss history. He had a great sense of humor, and he was very accommodating. This adventure (with the upgrade) was definitely worth the price, especially given the expenses between the Mont Blanc MultiPass, the transportation, and the guided tours. We also got extremely lucky with the weather, but Niels also seems flexible to change the day of your reservation if it gets cancelled due to weather closures. Overall great experience! Can’t recommend enough!

The itinerary was comprehensive, and the tour guide was professional and attentive. Although the boat trip couldn't be done on the same day, the second day's boat tour of Lake Geneva felt like a private boat trip, a truly wonderful experience.


