During my trip from January 12th to 21st, I felt a bit chilly in the mornings and evenings when it was windy and raining, but I was happy to be able to use the internet smoothly without any issues with the signal when I rented a car and traveled around the island. Setting it up after arriving and switching it on after returning to Tokyo were also no problem. I'd like to use it again when I fly to the US.

The phone settings instructions to get data roaming to work didn’t match my phones interface, which made it very confusing to get my eSIM to start working. I am using an Australian iPhone 17 with iOS 26.2.
