This tour was a highlight of our trip to Switzerland! It was small & personal. Our guide, Wilkens, made the day memorable with his kindness, warmth and laughter. He did everything to ensure we had the most amazing day! The Alps were absolutely stunning, and the waterfall and hike were breathtaking. The day was more than what we could have imagined!!

First of all, a quick shoutout to the tour organizer, who told our guide to wait for us at one place and told us to wait for her at another place. Thankfully, we were able to contact her via phone and we started the tour without incident. That little hiccup aside, the tour was excellent! Vanessa gave us a great 2+ hour tour of the Old Town, stopping at highlights such as the Fraumunster and the Grossmunster, but also the fountains, important historic sites (where Zurich women saved the city from invading forces), vestiges of a Roman bath, and a panoramic view of the river. We also learned a lot about life in Switzerland. To top it off, Vanessa shared some Swiss chocolates with us to finish our tour. This was a great way to spend a free morning we had in town!

From my initial contact with Chris I knew this was going to be a great tour. I wanted to see parts of Switzerland that many people did not get to see. Natural nature attractions, beautiful landscapes, quaint villages and a special place with a beautiful view for lunch . Chris delivered that and more on our private tour. He is very knowledgeable about the areas you visit and is a great conversationalist. It was the best day we had in Switzerland, in fact that day was the highlight of our 14 day trip. We didn’t know what to expect other than a great experience, from the reviews. However, we got the “one of a kind one !! Our guide Manuel was not only the friendliest but also experienced tour guide: always making sure we were getting the best out of this trip! After looking at our thousands of pics, we still cannot believe what we saw! Every penny worth it.


