Easy to setup and activate upon arrival in NZ. Signal was stable except when in certain areas on the road from Christchurch to Picton due to coverage but nonetheless very reliable in urban areas. Have used this in the past for earlier trips to NZ, so this is recommended for South Island (especially in town areas). I was also able to use this as a hotspot service to upload photos while on the road.★

However, for **, I received an SMS message, needed to connect to Wi-Fi, and uploaded a passport photo. ** seems to have strict identity verification, as it was the same when I used a physical SIM last year.
