It's very convenient to exit the baggage claim area and get a SIM card three times cheaper than similar SIM cards available for purchase at the airport. The downside is that 7-ELEVEN doesn't top up these SIM cards. It's supposedly the same as the yellow ATM, but we extended our plan at the AIS store. 10 GB for 150 baht.★

We set off early from Chiang Mai, first visiting the White Temple, then the Guanyin Temple, then the Black Temple, and finally the Blue Temple. Unexpectedly, the itinerary expanded from three temples to four. The guide provided explanations of each temple in both English and Mandarin, along with extra pictures and detailed explanations! There was a hot spring foot bath at one of the stops along the way; the water was quite hot! We also enjoyed hot spring eggs, coffee, and fruit. At the White Temple, we first had a 20 baht coconut water and then some boat noodles (which tasted very medicinal) before entering. We only entered the area without an entrance fee; the entrance fee was 100 baht. The interior was very elegant, shimmering silver-white in the sunlight! The Guanyin Temple requires climbing to the top, and the entrance fee was 40 baht! The Black Temple entrance fee was 80 baht; some parts were very stylish, while others felt a little scary 😱. Finally, we visited the Blue Temple!★

I used an eSIM with a 50GB plan for 10 days. I downloaded a QR code before my flight. Upon arrival in Bangkok, I connected to the airport's free network and activated it. I gave it to my family and had no problems using it. The connection is excellent in Pattaya, Bangkok, and Koh Lan. I recommend it 👍
