After arriving in Korea, I looked for a WOW Pass machine and picked up my card. I selected Japanese, then selected "New Card," and entered the number below the QR code that I received when I purchased the card from TRIP.com, and the card came out. Next, I activated the card. I followed the instructions on the WOW Pass machine and was able to activate it. After activating the card, I wanted to put Japanese yen into the pass, so I tapped "Charge," then "Japanese Yen," and inserted the yen. At first, I was surprised because I inserted the yen without inserting the WOW Pass, and I thought the money was being sucked in! But when I checked the WOW Pass app, the money was there. In Japan, I thought you had to insert the yen with the code already entered into the machine to charge it, but here, the process was to insert the card first, then remove the card, then insert the money, and then it was charged. I was able to use the WOW Pass at all the shops I entered in Korea. It was convenient and helpful as I didn't have to bother looking for a currency exchange office.

I rode the train with a friend! The night view was beautiful and the time flew by. I couldn't find the ticket office. If you stand in front of the Koreana Hotel, it's a small building behind it. I thought it would be in some other building, but it's a small building. You'll get lost if you don't go early.


