Wow, the Longmen grotto especially is both everything and nothing like I expected! I appreciated the tour guide at both the Shaolin temple and the grotto telling stories and giving explanations for the things we were looking at. Both places were extremely, extremely busy, but I managed to see everything I wanted to!

A minibus was arranged to pick us up from the hotel in the morning to transfer to the main bus. The tour guide was excellent, responsible, and very caring towards the group members. We were also very satisfied with the arrangements. The overall trip was long but not too tiring. Highly recommended! 👍👍👍

A huge thank you to our driver, Mr. Tian. We met a wedding procession along the way. Mr. Tian told us about wedding customs. And when the procession stopped at the newlyweds' house, Mr. Tian invited us to come in and watch the ceremony for a while. It was very interesting!! Thank you so much. The translation is based on an AI translator. The translation is simply amazing. Towards the end of our tour, it started raining, and Mr. Tian was standing at the exit, waiting for us with umbrellas. He was so thoughtful and attentive!! At the end of the day, he recommended a restaurant near the hotel. Overall, we definitely recommend him to the whole family. Contact him, you won't regret it.

We chose a private tour for two. The price was steep, but it was 100% worth it. Our guide, Bob, not only told us about the places to visit but also about modern Luoyang, and he answered all our questions and requests. We saw everything we wanted and still had energy left in the evening because we were picked up and dropped off directly from our hotel to the entrances of the attractions and back. If you're looking for comfort, this is a great option.

Coordinating the trip was a bit of a hassle, perhaps because there were only a few people booked, so in the end we had a tour with a Chinese-speaking staff member who accompanied us throughout the tour. Other than that, we're very satisfied with the tour, which met all the requirements outlined in the package, with a very comfortable bus and scheduled times. The Chinese guide was very kind and patient. Overall, we're very satisfied and happy with the service and would recommend it to anyone looking for a convenient half-day option.
